Wooree Green Science announced the US introduction of LipoPrime™, a liposomal ingredient platform positioned around analytical measures of encapsulation, stability and performance.
The important issue is not the word “liposomal” itself. Particle size and distribution, active loading, shelf-life integrity, dosage-form compatibility and behaviour in the matrix are what make systems comparable.
For product developers, the launch suggests a more demanding due-diligence checklist. Greater-bioavailability claims should be tied to data on the specific ingredient and, where relevant, a clinical comparison with a conventional form.
In B2B nutraceuticals, delivery-system differentiation will increasingly depend on methods, specifications and comparable data rather than technology names.
A commercial launch. Full data, transfer across actives and any clinical advantage must be evaluated product by product.
